WWE Wrestling Superstar John Cena is being sued by Ford for selling his 2017 Ford GT supercar

The Ford Motor company has filed a lawsuit against the host of the YouTube series Auto Geek, which featured the infamous 2017 Ford GT.

The actor rapper, TV host and WWE wrestling superstar John Felix Anthony Cena purpulaly known as John Cena is being sued for selling his 2017 Ford GT supercar to net a profit soon after taking possession in violation of his purchase agreement.

In a case filed in U.S. District Court in Michigan, Ford says Cena promised in his application to own the supercar, for which he paid $463,376, for at least two years.

Ford says in the lawsuit that when the Cena was confronted about the resale, he said

“I completely understand and as stated am willing to work with you and Ford to make it right. My sincerest apologies.”

According to the lawsuit, Ford made the rules on reselling the 2017 GT extra clear to its buyers at numerous times during the purchase process. The Order Confirmation that Cena signed for the car reads:

By signing this Order Confirmation Form you are verifying the following: ... (B)  You understand that being selected for the opportunity to purchase this vehicle is non - transferable and agree not to sell the vehicle within the first 24 months of delivery.

According to the lawsuit, Cena acknowledged in his application that he was aware of the company’s desire to be selective and that the car would go an owner who “truly deserved it.”

That being said, I am so absolutely astounded by what the Ford team has done with this new design, if I were to be deemed fit for ownership I would most certainly use every vehicle of communication to let the world know about the car, the brand, and the experience,” he wrote.

John Cena had agreed to Ford motor’s conditions about the car’s purchase in an online application. Cena sold the car without the company's knowledge
